dirt and starlight is one maker in collaboration with the world— fragments from beaches, forest floors, and abandoned jewelry finding their way into new identities... along with fresh alloys forged out of old metal, and shadowy ideas given tangible forms, from the beautiful to the eccentric. each piece carries a memory of where it came from. it's either alchemy or a witness protection program for tiny decorative objects.
Magical Objects start outdoors — picked up on walks, beaches, and forest edges. Old jewelry gets dismantled and starts over. Nothing comes from a catalogue.
Reclaimed metal gets melted, hammered, filed, and coaxed into something new. Traditional metalsmithing in a small studio — no shortcuts.
Each piece is made once and exists exactly once. No restocks, no replicas.
